I think that I met my Friend Frank Zamarippa arround 1971 when my Mother
just opened her Guesthouse in Esslingen-Sirnau, called the Siedlerheim. Frank
always was there to share with us the Guesthouse Life, he learned to speak
good German and our Suebian Dialect. We did many Travelings together and rode
arround in his big Chevrolet Impala, he teached me how to drive a Car, he
tooked me and other friends of mine to other Kasernes, went to Outdoor Pools
in Berkheim and Denkendorf, celebrating Holidays together. Frank were there
when we needed him, so he helped to fix up our Guesthouse with new Paint. He
gave me a lot of Army Insignias for my Collection. Often he came by at my
Mothers House and she cooked him the best German Food. I really miss him
much. I think he left Germany in 1984 and retired from the Army. I still have
Contact with him via Email. Take good care of you my Friend, Billy from Nellingen.
